This role offers a competitive pay rate of £185 per day.Main Duties:
  • Ensure compliance with ASB legislation, initiate enforcement actions, and conduct visits to determine legislative requirements and necessary actions.
  • Represent the Council at public inquiries, meetings, and external organizations, providing technical information and reports on service-related issues.
  • Conduct investigations and develop appropriate solutions for professional problems, including consultation, liaison, and partnership working.
  • Prepare reports and statements of evidence for legal proceedings, assist in case preparation, and attend court to give evidence on behalf of the Council.
  • Provide professional, expert, and up-to-date technical and legislative advice to residents, businesses, Members, and key stakeholders.
  • Prepare committee reports, technical reports, proofs of evidence, briefing notes, and correspondence for complex issues within the service area, with support from lead officers.
Requirements:
  • Satisfactory advanced DBS check.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the ASB and Crime Act 2014.
  • Aptitude for understanding the technical and legal aspects of the role to ensure successful and robust interpretation and solutions.
  • Inclusive team worker who can foster partnerships and work collaboratively across teams to achieve desired performance and outcomes.
