- Provide an enhanced Housing Management service to Sheltered Housing Tenants.
- Ensure the highest standard of service in line with regulatory and contractual requirements, as well as internal policies and procedures.
- Work flexibly to meet individual and communal needs, while maximizing independence and choice, and respecting privacy and dignity.
- Deliver a comprehensive Enhanced Housing Management service to help Tenants maintain their Tenancy, access housing services, use technology appropriately, and ensure effective signposting to other services.
- Conduct systematic monitoring and inspection of Sheltered Housing schemes to ensure secure, clean, and well-maintained communal areas and services, considering Tenant needs for planned maintenance.
- Address a range of complex issues that may significantly impact Tenants.
- Handle cash received from Tenants for Guest Room and TV licenses.
- Report and monitor the completion of household repairs for Tenants who are less able to do so, and coordinate/deploy a handy person to provide a more accessible and tailored service.
- Knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety requirements for Sheltered Housing schemes.
- Working knowledge of risk assessments and risk management.
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload, and act promptly in urgent situations.
- Experience working independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience in developing risk assessments.
- Significant experience in a similar role, particularly working with older people.
