The school we are working with is looking for a Primary SEN TA to assist their children with across the school, and they are looking for the Primary SEN TA to assist the pupil's learning, and academic and social-emotional progression.Â
Primary SEN TA | Job Summary
- Initial 1-Year contract for a Primary SEN TA commencing imminently, and lasting until July 2025
- Work Monday - Friday, 8:30 am- 4:00 pm
- £480-£510 per week | Paid PAYE
- Inclusive Primary School Provision in Harrow
- A Primary SEN TA will work with 4-11 year olds with various needs
- Safeguarding Training and other necessary training from specialists and professionals
- The role of a Primary SEN TA will mostly include 1:1 work with individual students
- A Primary SEN TA will be providing classroom support to 4-11 year-olds with various needs Autism Spectrum Condition, Speech and Communication Difficulties, and ADHD and other needs.
- Planning, preparing and delivering learning activities for individuals and groups of students will be a priority for a Primary SEN TA.
- Monitoring pupils and assessing, recording and reporting on pupil achievement, progress and development and reporting findings back to the SEND Team is essential.
- Building core skills and supporting a strong knowledge base through a tailored approach to the individual needs of the pupils.
- Working within a high staff-to-pupil ratio to enable an individualized approach to learning.
- Developing and maintaining positive relationships with parents, carers and family.
- Working with CAMHS, the School Nursing Service and Early Help and Social Care teams.
