Role Overview:

We are looking for candidates who are driven to raise attainment and progress among pupils, enthusiastic about helping children develop social skills and self-confidence and also hard-working with a great sense of humour!

As a SENT TA you will be required to support classroom teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons, ensuring that every student receives the attention and support they need to succeed.

Requirements:

  • 6 months experience working as SEN TA in a UK Primary School.
  • Relevant qualifications NVQ Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning (advantageous).
  • Enhanced DBS on Update Service(desirable).
  • Good understanding of the curriculum.
  • Knowledge of different learning difficulties and disabilities(desirable).

Responsibilities:

  • Helping students with personal care and social skills.
  • Creating and adapting resources to meet individual student needs.
  • Providing feedback to teachers and parents on student progress.
  • Participating in training and development opportunities.
