We are looking for an experienced Special Needs Assistant to join our successful and growing team.
In this role, you will be providing daily support to students with disabilities in a school in Harrow that is dedicated to helping children reach their full potential in a safe and enabling environment.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with special needs children and experience as a qualified Special Needs Assistant. You will also need a good understanding of safeguarding in schools and the ability to take initiative when working with students on a day to day basis.
Your responsibilities will include: - Supporting teachers and school staff in providing assistance to all students with special educational needs - Providing one-on-one encouragement and guidance to students with special needs - Helping to create positive learning environments and implementing creative strategies for learning - Assisting with the development of individual student plans - Working closely with other staff to ensure the students succeed Our school offers excellent benefits including competitive salary, comprehensive training, flexible hours and career progression opportunities.
