What you will do:
- Independently manage a highly complex mainly neurological caseload, making differential diagnosis and clinical management decisions.
- Analyse auditory, visual, and kinaesthetic aspects of client communication, identifying strategies to enhance effectiveness at home, work, and other settings.
- Develop and implement highly specialist Speech and Language Therapy treatment programmes based on evidence-based practices.
- Utilise clinical judgment and specialist skills to respond effectively to changes in clients' health status, communicating with appropriate professionals.
- Motivate clients and carers to actively engage in the therapeutic process.
- Develop comprehensive uni-disciplinary and multi-disciplinary clinical protocols.
- Participate and take a lead in SLT triage for new referrals as needed.
