SEMH Tutor - Harrow North East London - 10 hours a week

Remedy Education are looking for a SEMH tutor to work with a boy in year 15 who have server SEN needs. The tuition is for 10 hours (2 hours a day) to support the student with learning life skills, expressive arts, English and Maths.

his role is perfect for qualified SEN / SEND teachers who are eager to work with children and young people with a variety of learning needs, in a creative, flexible, holistic, and trauma-informed manner, to raise their engagement and drastically improve the outlook of their educational journey.

The SEN / SEND Tutor role:

  • This role will involve providing Maths and English tuition for a young student with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH)
  • The young student has been referred to us by local authorities and schools and will require some level of support in their educational and social-emotional journey
  • If selected, your role will be to provide this support via flexible and holistic trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
