Hours: Double Days, Monday - Friday 06.00-14.00 / 14.00-22.00 Weekly Rotations

The Role
路 Minimise production downtime, by carrying out routine scheduled maintenance (PPMs) and respond to unplanned breakdowns with the stipulated timeframes.
路 Ensure that production operations maximise output and minimise downtime safely through regular planned maintenance.
路 Respond to unplanned breakdowns in a timely and effective manner, working alongside engineering and production colleagues to minimise disruption.
- To be on call 1 week in 4 (Paid 拢250 extra per week / 拢3250 per year & Any callout is paid at 1.5x your hourly rate)
路 Optimise the performance and lifecycle of operational equipment with regular preventative maintenance, working with the Production team, to identify and understand causes of equipment wear and underperformance.
路 Diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns
路 Carry out all work according to Safe Systems of Work, Risk Assessments, SOPs, Dynamic Risk Assessments and company policies and procedures.
The Requirements
路 In depth understanding of fault finding/diagnostics on manufacturing machinery
路 Electrical & Mechanical Competencies
路 Relevant Electrical/Mechanical Qualifications (City & Guilds/NVQs) - Advantageous
路 Experience of working in a fast paced production environment for a minimum of 2 years - Essential
- Previous experience working as a maintenance engineer, mechanical engineer or electrical engineer
