The Role:
As a Harness Builder, you will play a crucial role in building and assembling complex wiring harnesses for various applications, from aerospace to high-performance sectors. You will be working with intricate designs and specifications, ensuring the highest levels of accuracy, quality, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and assemble complex cable harnesses to detailed technical specifications.
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and build instructions.
- Perform continuity checks and quality control tests on completed assemblies.
- Work with various connectors, terminals, and wire types.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to refine designs and address any issues.
- Maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring the finished products meet industry and client standards.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in harness building, cable assembly, or related fields.
- Experience in the automotive or motorsport industries is highly desirable, with exposure to high-performance electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret detailed wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Excellent manual dexterity and an eye for precision.
- Experience with soldering, crimping, and use of specialized tooling.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work to tight deadlines.
