Reed Finance are working exclusively with a highly reputable manufacturing company based in Hartlepool.  Our client is seeking an experienced and commercially astute Financial Controller to join the team on an interim basis for 6 months. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management within the manufacturing sector and will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of financial reporting and analysis
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Provide strategic financial insights to support business decisions
- Lead and mentor the finance team
- Handle pricing, commercial activities, and tenders
- Conduct costing and work closely with sales and operations teams
- Drive margins and profitability
Skills required:
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role in the manufacturing industry
- Experience with pricing, commercial activities, tenders, costing, and working with sales and operations
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong ERP experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
