About My Client:My client is a long-established and CQS-accredited law firm with over 130 years of history, known for delivering high-quality legal services across the North East. With multiple offices in the region, they are expanding to meet growing client demand and are seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join their team at the Hartlepool Marina office.

Role Overview:This position is suited for a confident, self-motivated Residential Conveyancer with extensive experience in handling a wide range of residential property matters. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing files independently from instruction through to post-completion, including freehold, leasehold, and right-to-buy transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling a variety of residential conveyancing transactions, including purchases, freehold, leasehold, and right-to-buy matters.
  • Running purchase files from initial instruction through to completion with minimal supervision.
  • Attending clients, providing quotes, taking instructions, and offering timely updates.
  • Working to tight deadlines while effectively prioritizing workloads.
  • Demonstrating excellent client care skills and maintaining high standards of communication (both written and oral) with clients and colleagues.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Residential Conveyancer, with a comprehensive understanding of property law.
  • Strong client care and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
