Baltic Recruitment are delighted to be supporting our market leading manufacturing client with their search for a Customer Service & Sales Advisor.

Overall Purpose:

  • The purpose of this role is to ensure the customer feels supported, valued and world-class service whilst driving forward customer development, engagement and retention.
  • You will be part of the existing commercial and business development team, in which they will have responsibility and influence in key accounts and campaigns.

Key Duties:

  • Receiving and processing sales orders received over the phone and electronically.
  • Create your own relationships with existing accounts.
  • Convert enquiries into sales.
  • Generate sales leads from marketing campaigns.
  • Select, despatch, track samples and assist in converting the enquiries into sales.
  • Support the sales team in administrative functions.
  • Process web-orders and handle the online chat function for customer queries.
  • Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities and generating ideas to improve the service offered to our customers and/or the efficiency of our internal processes.
  • Mastering more specialist activities including managing export orders, dealing with bespoke orders, account management, customer care.

  • Ability to prioritise & manage multiple workflows and deadlines.
  • Tenacity, confidence and persuasiveness.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • A desire for self-improvement and ongoing professional development.
  • Experience in/ understanding manufacturing processes preferred.
  • Experience in a previous service and sales role preferred.
  • Understanding of costing.

The Package:

  • £26,000 - £29,000 per annum depending on experience.
  • Office working hours, Mon-Thurs 8:30AM - 5:00PM, Friday 8:30AM - 1:00PM.
