EYFS Teaching Assistant

Clockwork Education have been approached by a lovely, welcoming school in Nursery School in County Durham to assist them to find an EYFS Teaching Assistant to support them. The role is available to start immediately and will be ongoing until Summer 2025 at least and will involve you working 8.30am- 3.30pm, 5 days a week.

The lovely school require a EYFS Teaching Assistant to work across Nursery, Reception and Key Stage 1 when needed. The school require someone with the relevant qualification who can join them and hit the ground running.

EYFS Teaching Assistant Responsibilities

·Working within the EYFS setting of the school to work with small groups of children and may require some one-to-one work

·Recording evidence of key children meeting targets

·Using own initiative to take the lead and to change activity plans if needed

EYFS Teaching Assistant Requirements

·A relevant Level 3 qualification

·Ability to provide 2 x educational based references

·Confident and experienced in working with small groups of children

·Excellent numeracy and literacy knowledge

·Good behaviour management
