Electrical Technician - Role Overview
- Offshore installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of advanced Low & High Voltage systems
- Rolling 12-month contract with long-term project potential
- On a 14/14 rotational schedule, based from a North East UK port
- Support from an assigned back-office team located just 5 miles from site
Requirements
- Previous electrical experience in wind (commissioning, HV/AP, etc.)
- Recognised electrical qualifications - or related work experience (e.g. NVQ, City & Guilds)
- Valid GWO certifications: BST, BTT, ART, EFA & HUET
- Right to work in the UK
Training & Development
- 2-Week Intro Course on turbine-specific systems (Mon-Fri, 9-5) — £26.50p/h
- Ongoing paid training to progress to Authorised Technician and HV/Supervisor roles
- Manufacturer-specific courses paid at £20p/h
- All training, PPE, accommodation, and travel costs covered
