We are currently recruiting for an Account Manager to join an organisation based in Hartlepool.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and prospect new business opportunities using telesales, LinkedIn outreach, and email approaches
- Develop and manage a sales pipeline to ensure consistent lead generation and conversion.
- Utilise various platforms and tools to uncover potential clients
- Engage in meaningful conversations with decision-makers to offer solutions and pricing, and convert to customers.
- Build and manage client base by providing ongoing support, ensuring high levels of satisfaction, and identifying opportunities for cross-selling.
- Maximise margins through effective pricing and negotiation, ensuring both competitive offerings and profitability.
- Act as the point of contact for customers, resolving any issues or concerns promptly.
- Liaise with Credit and Transport teams to ensure orders are processed and delivered on time.
- Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with customers through regular check-ins and reviews.
Experience:
- Proven track record in B2B sales and account management, with a strong focus on prospecting, converting, and managing a portfolio of commercial accounts.
- Experience in involving sales, telesales, LinkedIn outreach, or email-based communication.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed targets in a competitive, fast-paced environment.
- Skilled in managing a sales pipeline and driving lead generation, conversion, and account growth.
- Ability to engage effectively with decision-makers at all levels and close sales with strong negotiation tactics to balance competitiveness with profitability.
- Strong ability to build and maintain long-lasting relationships with customers
