Warehouse Operative
Reporting to: Warehouse Manager
Location: Hartlepool
Hours: 3 days, 20 hours per week (Between Monday and Friday)
Pay: £11.64 per hour, weekly pay.
What You Will Be Doing?
We are looking for a hard-working and proactive Warehouse Operative to support our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing inventory, processing orders, and maintaining a well-organised warehouse environment. This role requires a motivated individual with excellent organisational skills and the ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
Working hours/days:
- You will work 3 days (20 hours per week) between the days of Monday-Friday.
- Your days will change depending on the needs of the business.
- Working hours will be between 9am - 5.30pm.
- We require you to have flexibility to be able to cover sickness/holidays.
Pay rate:
You will be paid weekly, every Friday for the hours worked the week before.
Pay rate is £11.64 per hour.
Warehouse Operative Key responsibilities:
- Accurately receive, unload, and store incoming inventory items.
- Perform quality checks on received products and ensure they meet company standards.
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery according to schedule.
- Organise stock and maintain inventory by labelling and storing items following the correct processes.
- Keep a clean and safe working environment by maintaining compliance with company procedures and regulations.
- Utilise warehouse management software to track inventory and maintain accurate records.
- Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Assist in maintaining and organising warehouse space for optimal efficiency.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations.

- Proven experience as a warehouse operative or similar role.
- Knowledge of warehouse software (e.g., inventory management systems).
- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Physical capability to lift and move heavy items.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
