Our client, based in Hartlepool, is looking for a Warehouse Administrator to cover Maternity starting at the end of January 2025. Reporting into the Warehouse Manager, the role will be to provide a support service to the Manager with respect to warehouse planning, with regard to all warehouse department documentation and system transactions.

Hours of work would be8.00am - 4.30pm, Monday to Friday (40 hours).


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Preparing documentation for warehouse operations.
  • Complete system transactions on time.
  • Liaise with the production team to plan warehouse workload.
  • To deputise for operations assistant when required.
  • Issuing warehouse documentation/instructions as required
  • Liaise with 3rd party transport contractors to agree delivery &dispatch schedules.
  • Prepare shipping documentation as required.
  • Liaise with operations to agree internal transport requirements
  • Raise pick lists as required.
  • Complete system transactions inside agreed timescales.
  • Administer warehouse personnel records.
  • Give assistance to other departments as and when required in preparation of Production and Stock reports.

Requirements:

  • Excellent administration experience, ideally within a warehouse, production or logistics environment
  • IT literate
  • Good communication and organsationskills
  • Attention to detail
