Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (Waste-To-Energy)

Are you a mechanical engineer, looking to join the rapidly expanding energy sector where you will be able to progress into more senior positions and eventually move off the tools?

Do you have experience servicing and maintaining heavy engineering equipment and looking for a role where you will receive training on the company's equipment and have secure job security within a futureproof industry?

This company specialise in converting food waste into energy helping councils reach their net zero energy targets.

In this role the successful candidate will carry out planned preventative maintenance of waste processing equipment, coordinate breakdown responses and manage contractors to ensure safe practice is followed. Training on the company's equipment will be provided and there will be the opportunity to progress into more senior positions such as Project Management.

This role would suit a mechanical engineer who has experience servicing and maintaining heavy engineering equipment and is looking to progress their career within the ever-expanding energy.

The Role:

* Planned preventative maintenance of waste processing equipment
* Coordinate breakdown responses and manage contractors to ensure safe practice is followed
* Training and progression available
* Monday-Friday, 42.5-hour week
* Site-based near Hartlepool

The Person:

* Mechanical engineering background
* Experience servicing and maintaining heavy engineering equipment
* Commutable to Hartlepool
