We are currently recruiting for a Housing Services Manager to join the team of a well-established housing organisation on an interim basis, offering hybrid working, experience in a reputable company, and the opportunity to create a positive impact.

Monday to Friday/ 9-5
Interim - until March 2025
29-32ph via umbrella

As a Housing Services Manager, you will be:
  • Responsible for supporting the Director in Implementing the vision, strategic and core values of the division.
  • Responsible for the strategic oversight and provision of all service areas as outlined in Key Responsibilities above.
  • Oversight and leadership of a valued, confident, developed, empowered and innovative workforce.
  • Seek out innovative ways of integrating services within the division to achieve efficiencies and improve quality of service delivery.
  • Developing, securing and maintaining effective partnerships that support both the Division and the wider council's work.
  • Ensure the provision of and commissioning of safe, effective and high quality services that are responsive to local need and are provided within a clear quality framework compliant with statutory duties.
  • Ensure employees feel valued and understand their role in achieving the Council's vision and objectives in a supportive and learning environment which protects and enhances their personal well-being.
  • Work with and influence relevant national and regional organisations, partners and stakeholders in a spirit of partnership and collaboration and develop mutually effective working relationships.

To be successful in this Housing Services Manager role, you will need:
  • Member of the CIH or other relevant professional body
  • Experience of effectively leading and motivating teams and individuals to achieve high levels of performance
  • Detailed knowledge of legislation and best practice in social housing
  • Able to foster and maintain positive working relationships with internal colleagues and external stakeholders
