Housing Support Officer Vacancy waiting to be filled

A well-respected Charity is currently looking to recruit a Housing Support Officer to start with them on a temporary contract as soon as possible.

Position:      Housing Services Officer   

Location:      Hartlepool

Rate:             £15.00 p/hour Umbrella Rate

Hours:           35 hours p/week (Mon - Tue)

Length:          3 Months ongoing

The role will predominantly involve:

  • Working in a floating support role attending to service users who have a variety of different support needs in their own properties
  • Follow and update individual support plans
  • Ensure any maintenance issues are reported and followed up on time and make sure void properties are ready for new tenants to move into
  • Liaise with a range of internal and external agencies
  • Assist clients with any budgeting and taking them to appointments
  • Make sure confidentiality is upheld at all times and comply with GPDR
  • Uphold safeguarding and adhere to health and safety procedures ensuring that any issues that are identified are recording correctly

ssential requirements:

  • An Enhanced DBS from within the last year with the Adults and Children’s list checked
  • Experience or an interest in working with vulnerable people
  • Good IT skills including Microsoft packages
