The school: Is seeking someone who has a experience with SEN needs for the school’s recent established additional resource provision (ARP) opened in 2023. Since the ARP known as the "meadow" has been established they have a proven track record of supporting students with special and additional needs. The variety of the needs within the unit include challenges with social communication, emotional regulation and sensory processing differences. The school values encourages all pupils to respect and celebrate differences, as they grow alongside one another, building skills and values that will carry them through secondary school and beyond. What We’re Looking For:

  • Positive skillset
  • Ability to support children who experience challenges with social communication, emotional regulation and sensory processing differences
  • High standards of professionalism, creativity, and problem-solving
  • Experience working within an ARP previously or in a direct SEN setting
  • Comfortable teaching 6 pupils from year 1 to year 3
  • 4-5 days a week
  • Will need to go through the registration process (for more details, please enquire).

If successful the school are offering any senior leadership opportunities working closely underneath the SENCO and taking on any TLR on top of your annual salary. Interviews will be taking place in the next week for an April start time. There’s an open-door policy with the SENCO, allowing teachers and parents to collaborate on strategies and interventions.
