Pay Rate: 15.38 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00

Job Overview

We are seeking a Static Inventory Operative to manage and maintain stock levels at a leading facility in Harwell. The successful candidate will be responsible for ordering, tracking, and distributing stock while ensuring accurate records are maintained.



Key Responsibilities

  • Manage stock using the client's inventory system, ensuring timely ordering and distribution to relevant work areas
  • Update the Maximo stock database and conduct physical stock checks against virtual stock records
  • Pick and issue maintenance parts and lab consumables, ensuring proper stock rotation to meet expiry dates
  • Quarantine goods as needed, process delivery notes, and upload compliance and quality certification documents
  • Manage all stock returns, update inventory records, and assess the condition of unused stock for restocking or disposal
  • Reorder parts and consumables as stock levels decrease, anticipating future needs and adjusting stock levels accordingly
  • Coordinate the collection of serviceable parts for re-certification or refurbishment
  • Ensure availability of spare parts to support maintenance and reactive works, providing parts lists and estimated timescales for remedial work
  • Maintain a safe and healthy working environment, including wearing the required uniform and PPE at all times
  • Complete mandatory training and skills-related development as required by the business

  • Standard working clothes for engineers are required
