- Hours: Monday - Thursday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm; Friday, 8:30 am - 3:45 pm
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Engineer to join established contract packaging company. This role involves working closely with production line equipment to ensure efficient and high-quality output. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach to machine setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting, with a focus on improving production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting up and operating a range of equipment, filling, labelling and shrink sleeving machines.
- Responding to breakdowns
- Monitoring line efficiencies
- Machine maintenance
- Operating various production machines
- Undertaking all production tasks as required
- Ensuring all products are handled with care
- Full Training given
Experience / Skills
- Experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Mechanical skills and knowledge of production machinery would be beneficial.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair production line equipment would be beneficial - training available.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
