Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Engineer to join established contract packaging company. This role involves working closely with production line equipment to ensure efficient and high-quality output. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach to machine setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting, with a focus on improving production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Setting up and operating a range of equipment, filling, labelling and shrink sleeving machines.
  • Responding to breakdowns
  • Monitoring line efficiencies
  • Machine maintenance
  • Operating various production machines
  • Undertaking all production tasks as required
  • Ensuring all products are handled with care
  • Full Training given

Experience / Skills

  • Experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Mechanical skills and knowledge of production machinery would be beneficial.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair production line equipment would be beneficial - training available.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
