Waddington Brown is delighted to be working in partnership with this well established and independent organisation to recruit an experienced Interim Head of People Services for an initial period of 6 months, commencing in the next couple of weeks. Reporting to and working alongside the Director of People & Culture, this is a key role in ensuring the efficient and smooth running of the HR function as well as supporting the development of the people strategy across the organisation.

Leading a small but very effective HR and Payroll team, as Interim Head of People Services you will ensure the delivery of a pragmatic, professional and confidential HR service, adhering to employment law & best practice at all times. With a keen eye on process improvement, you will identify opportunities for the continual development of HR as a valued partner in the organisation.

As the successful candidate you are ideally MCIPD qualified with experience of leading and developing teams. You will be happy to support with operational activities where necessary and have energy, resilience, and a can-do attitude. Your ability to build effective relationships is key, through direct, authentic, and positive communication.
