  • Hours: Monday - Thursday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm; Friday, 8:30 am - 3:45 pm

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Engineer to join established contract packaging company. This role involves working closely with production line equipment to ensure efficient and high-quality output. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach to machine setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting, with a focus on improving production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Equipment Setup: Prepare and configure a range of equipment for production processes, including filling, labelling, and shrink-sleeving.
  • Troubleshooting & Repairs: Respond quickly and effectively to equipment breakdowns to minimise downtime.
  • Efficiency Monitoring: Track and assess line efficiencies, identifying and addressing issues to optimise production.
  • Machine Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance on machines to ensure they are running safely and effectively.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical skills and knowledge of production machinery.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair production line equipment.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
