Production Planner
9am - 5pm (35 hours per week!)
37,000 per annum

A client of ours in the Harwich area are recruiting a Production Planner to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm and paying 32,000 - 37,000 per annum depending on experience.

Key Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and maintain daily and weekly production schedules.
  • Coordinate with commercial, logistics, and operations teams on product demand and feedstocks.
  • Lead weekly scheduling meetings and communicate plans to stakeholders.
  • Monitor production processes.
  • Align weekly schedules with monthly plans in collaboration with the Supply Chain Manager.
  • Maintain accurate production records, inventory levels, and schedules.
  • Support continuous improvement in supply chain processes.
  • Serve as the system key user.
  • Manage BOM, recipes, and production versions.
  • Process orders for production.
  • Maintain MRP material master data.


Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Production Planner position:

  • Experience in a similar role within the manufacturing and production industry
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
  • Ideally degree qualified in supply chain management, production engineering or related fields. Chemistry to A level standard would be an advantage.
  • Proficient in supply chain software (SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
