Our client, a leading Logistics company based in Harwich, is seeking to hire an experienced Sea Freight Operator.
The ideal candidate must have at least 2 years of experience in the Sea Freight Division or Customs Clearance.
Key responsibilities include quoting clients, booking jobs, liaising with customers and suppliers, and preparing necessary documents.
Candidates should have a minimum of 1 year in Freight Forwarding and 2 years in Sea Freight or Customs Clearance, along with customs clearance experience.
The position offers a competitive salary of £30,000 per year.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Quoting Clients
Booking jobs via inhouse Computer software
Liaising with customers, agents and suppliers
Arranging collections and deliveries
Preparing Documents ( EG, Bill of Lading, Collection and Delivery Notes, Customs Paperwork)
Customs clearance
Invoicing

Skills & Experience Required:

1 year experience in Freight Forwarding

2 years’ experience within the Sea Freight Division / Customs Clearance
Customs Clearance experience
