Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented experienced Sea Freight Operator with Customs experience to join a Haulage and Freight Forwarding company in Harwich.

You will need 2 years experience in a similar role.

The Role

• Quoting Clients
• Booking jobs via inhouse Computer software
• Liaising with customers, agents and suppliers
• Arranging collections and deliveries
• Preparing Documents ( EG, Bill of Lading, Collection and Delivery Notes, Customs Paperwork)
• Customs clearance
• Invoicing

Requirements

• Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management is preferred.
• Customs Clearance experience
• Familiarity with EDI systems and transportation management software is advantageous.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships with vendors and clients.
• Proficient in data entry with excellent attention to detail.
