Acoustic Technical Sales Administrator

Due to continued growth, this respected, established market leader, who designs and manufactures acoustic ventilation systems and enclosures for large industrial applications is looking to recruit a detail-oriented and organised Acoustic Technical Sales Administrator to support the Acoustics Project Manager in all aspects of project administration. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the acoustic engineering projects by assisting in the preparation of project documentation, performing calculations, and compiling noise assessments and reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Documentation: Assist in generating and maintaining all project-related documentation, including project plans, timelines, and records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare and compile noise assessments, basic acoustic calculations, and interpreting results under the guidance of the Acoustic Project Manager.
  • Calculations and Data Analysis: Perform basic acoustic calculations and assist in data analysis for noise control and soundproofing projects. Ensure all calculations are accurate and comply with relevant standards.
  • Client Communication: Assist in preparing communication materials for clients, including project updates, technical summaries, and final reports. Coordinate with clients to gather necessary project information.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all documentation and reports meet the company's quality standards and adhere to regulatory requirements.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical administrative support to the project team, including organising meetings, preparing meeting minutes, and managing project files.
  • Database Management: Maintain and update databases of acoustic data, project files, and client records. Ensure easy retrieval and organisation of information.

Requirements:

  • Basic understanding of acoustics and noise control principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
  • Experience with acoustic modeling software or tools is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in preparing technical documents and reports.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Previous experience in an administrative or technical support role, ideally within an engineering or environmental consultancy, is highly desirable.

Qualifications:

  • A degree or diploma in a relevant field is a plus.
  • A background in engineering, environmental science, acoustics, or a related technical field is preferred
