TIG Welder / Fabricator

Permanent position

Competitive pay: £15.00 - £18.00 per hour, based on experience.

Location: Harwich, Essex

A skilled TIG Welder / Fabricator is required to join a well-established engineering company who specialise in manufacturing high-quality components primarily using Stainless Steel, Mild Steel, and Aluminium.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform TIG and MIG welding (including thin gauge welding) to fabricate and manufacture components.
  • Work from detailed engineering drawings to meet project specifications.
  • Ensure high-quality workmanship in the fabrication of sheet metal components.
  • Adhere to all relevant health and safety standards in the workplace.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Extensive hands-on experience in TIG welding.
  • Proven expertise in sheet metal fabrication.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Awareness of health and safety regulations.
  • Any welding certifications (coding) would be an advantage but not essential.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, with excellent overtime opportunities.
  • Competitive pay: £15.00 - £18.00 per hour, based on experience.
  • Overtime rates available for additional hours.
