The Role:
They are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join our talented team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students and contribute to the continued success of our science department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Teach science across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach A-level (depending on experience).
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to promote improvement.
  • Contribute to the development of the science curriculum and departmental initiatives.
  • Maintain high standards of classroom management and student behaviour.
  • Participate actively in the life of the school, including extracurricular activities and events.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in a science-related field.
  • Proven experience in teaching science at the secondary level.
  • A commitment to fostering a love for science and encouraging student engagement.
  • Strong organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • A collaborative approach to working with colleagues and the wider school community.
