Our client is looking for a Financial Controller to enhance financial practices and procedures within the organisation, while ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and ensure compliance with the organisation’s financial procedures and policies
  • Develop effective methods for tracking and managing financial data
  • Utilise spreadsheets and advanced software to collect and record financial information
  • Manage and execute financial transactions, including bill payments, invoicing, and payroll
  • Support the audit process by providing requested information and data
  • Complete administrative duties such as paperwork and filing records
  • Maintain organised records to support tax preparation
  • Analyse financial data to identify trends and detect errors
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and correct inaccuracies
  • Prepare regular financial reports and assist with presentations to management and executives
  • Develop and manage budgets for departments, projects, and business needs
  • Address financial inquiries from colleagues, clients, customers, and stakeholders.

Experience and Skills Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field
  • Relevant licenses or certifications, such as Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), if required by the employer
  • Experience in a business or finance environment
  • Strong mathematical skills
  • High level of honesty, integrity, and reliability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
