Reed HR are currently recruiting for a HR Advisor to join my client on an ongoing temporary basis to support the HR Manager with workload.

This role is a mixture of home working and working in the office based in Haslemere, Surrey. 

Role purpose:

The HR Advisor will manage the day-to-day HR operations ensuring effective implementation of HR policies and procedures. This role supports the HR Manager in executing companywide HR initiatives and serves as a key contact for employees.

Hours: 35 hours a week Monday to Friday with flexi working hours and a 3.30pm finish on a Friday if you work 1hr 30 mins extra during the week.

Reporting to: HR Manager

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Oversee and manage daily HR operations and duties
  • Lead and coordinate the recruitment process
  • Coordinate and facilitate employee onboarding
  • Maintain employee records, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Handle employee relations issues and assist with conflict resolution
  • Manage employee benefits programs and provide information to employees about their benefits
  • Track employee absences and assist managers with supporting employees on leave
  • Organise training sessions, track participation, and assist in developing training materials
  • Assist in designing, distributing, and analysing employee surveys to gather feedback
  • Support the implementation of programs designed to increase employee engagement and retention.
  • Help ensure all HR policies and procedures are consistently applied and adhered to across the organisation
  • Assist in coordinating performance reviews, collecting feedback, and ensuring timely completion of appraisals
  • Assist in the implementation of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs and activities
  • Help organise and manage programs that recognise and reward employee contributions
  • Address employee questions and provide information on HR policies, procedures, and programs
