Manufacturing Scheduler

Location: Haslemere , Surrey

About the Role

We are seeking a Manufacturing Scheduler to join a growing manufacturing department. As the organisation continues to expand, the business is eager to ensure production is well coordinated and optimised to meet customer demands. 

The duties of a Manufacturing Scheduler:

  • Create and maintain accurate production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Monitor inventory levels to minimise waste and ensure the availability of materials.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to forecast demand and adjust production plans accordingly.
  • Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and production teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency.
  • Track and fulfil customer orders, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Analyse production capacity and recommend adjustments to meet business needs.
  • Generate and present reports on production performance and inventory levels.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and maintain high safety standards.
  • Maintain a safe workplace and report any incidents or potential hazards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in production planning
  • Proficiency in MRP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage complex scheduling scenarios.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with various departments.
  • Exceptional organisational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities.
  • High attention to detail for creating and maintaining precise production schedules.
  • A solid understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and inventory
