Ward Manager Rotational

About us: We are a specialist 42 bed hospital for adults with complex medical needs caused by an acquired brain injury or other serious neurologicalconditions. We offer care, treatment and rehabilitation.

Job summary: We are looking to recruit a highly motivated, professional nurse to manage a high dependency ward. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered, ensure the efficient running of the ward, effectively leading, motivating, supervising and directing staff toensure that time and resources are managed through effective teamwork.

About you: As the Ward Manager you will be an RN with current NMC pin, preferably with previous experience working in a neuro-disability setting, and beTracheostomy and Ventilator trained, however training would be provided. You will be accountable for the delivery of our patient care in a way that is Caring, Safe, Effective, Responsive, Effective and Well Led.

You will lead, inspire and motivate your team, providing supervision of others carrying out all aspects of the caring process, act as a positive role model and ensure the safe management of the ward by maintaining a visible and professional presence in a clinical setting and working closely with the wider Multi-Disciplinary team.You will have day-to-day oversight of staffing, resources, roster management and workforce planning, as well as patient care.
