The Company:

W H Good Automation is a Systems Integrator/Panel Builder based in Haslingden, Lancashire. We are committed to continuous development for our employees, offering supported learning, formalised training and mentoring towards career progression.

The Role:

  • Mechanical fitting e.g. drilling, punching and assembly
  • Fitting electrical components within control panels
  • Wiring of electrical components including power, controls voltage, PLC systems
  • Reading engineering drawings
  • Working to complete jobs in accordance with the design and to agreed timescales
  • Adherence to the company’s health & safety rules
  • Working to industry practices and company quality system

 Some training may be provided, but the following would be an advantage:

  • A suitable and recognised electrical apprenticeship or qualification
  • Experience of fitting and assembly of panel components
  • Experience of electrical wiring, maintenance or installation
  • Basic electrical diagnostics capabilities
  • The ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team

37.5 hour week (8.00am to 4.00pm, Monday to Friday) with overtime available.
