Control Systems - PLC & SCADA - The Role:
- Designing and developing new automation systems for plant and machinery
- Develop and document new PLC/HMI control systems from concept to qualification
- Commercial awareness, working within cost and time constrained environments
- Working collaboratively with commissioning/software engineers to ensure that equipment works to specification
- Making improvements to, and offering advice about, operational procedures for both new and existing systems.
- Coordinating work to tight deadlines
- Creating test procedures
- Investigating problems and diagnosing faults within control systems
- Writing reports and documentation
- Providing technical support to customers
- Specifying and purchasing controls equipment
Control Systems - PLC & SCADA - The Person:
- Demonstrate a positive approach to duties
- Degree or HNC Qualified
- PLC & SCADA systems background
- Completion of URS, FDS documentation
- Have a professional approach to job duties and when dealing with suppliers/contractors or any other external contact
Located in Lancashire, this role would be commutable from Blackburn, Burnley, Accrington, Bury, Rochdale and Bolton
