We are looking for someone as a key part of our small owner/operator team. We are looking for someone creative and who has a natural enthusiasm for food. We think someone who has a bright personality, likes working in a team that embraces new ideas and enjoys thinking and working outside the box would be a perfect fit.
Youll be helping to prepare, cook and provide amazing street food and casual dining dishes for our menu that will appeal to our customer base and fit the ethos and personality of the Hop Tub. Not only will you be responsible for delivering dishes that wow our audience, youll be involved in helping to create food that will be a match to our ever changing beer selection, all made in our on-site brewery.
Much like with any kitchen, youll also be responsible for the day to day, managing a small team of KPs, and a Chef De Partie/Sous feeding into an ever developing business with new exciting ideas, menus and an ever evolving offer.
Naturally you will look after ordering, stock management and control as well as maintaining a high level of hygiene so a full knowledge of health and safety practices is essential and a Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate is advantageous
The position would suit either someone wanting to take a step into or towards their first head chef role or a head chef who has worked with a small team, in a dynamic kitchen.
Start date is flexible with a deadline of mid Feb. Our working week of shifts from Wed-Mon. Paid overtime available. Staff discounts.
The position has the potential to come with a newly decorated 1 bedroom flat, inclusive of bills for the right candidate.
