We are seeking a caring and committed Teaching Assistant for Autism support to join our multi-award-winning independent school in Hassocks. This schoolprovides specialised education for young people aged 11-19 with a diagnosis of autism. Many of these students have faced challenges in mainstream education, such as school refusal or multiple exclusions, and are in need of dedicated Autism support to help them re-engage with learning.

As a Teaching Assistant for Autism support, you will:

  • Offer vital Autism support to students, helping them build confidence and succeed in a positive learning environment
  • Assist in creating individualized learning plans for students with autism, ensuring they feel safe and supported
  • Work closely with teachers and staff to deliver the best possible Autism support tailored to each student's needs
