Reed Education are looking for Secondary Teachers to join our team this academic year. This could be in qualified teaching cover or generally cover suitable for unqualified teachers but experienced Cover supervisors or those looking to gain experience before training to teach.

We cover Secondary schools across West and East Sussex to support with a range of long and short term cover.

For this role you will:

  • Hold right to work in the UK and a DBS on the update service (or be willing to obtain one)
  • have teaching experience to experience working with students in similar setting to school (desirable)
  • Strong, positive behaviour management techniques that can support a schools behaviour policy.
  • Good communication skills and confidence to work with new groups of students sometimes daily
  • Being a driver is desirable but no mandatory due to the location of some of our schools
  • Have a flexible and positive attitude to work
