Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Secondary School Supply Teacher. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring that students are engaged in meaningful learning activities and maintaining a safe and positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the regular teacher
  • Ensure that students are engaged in meaningful learning activities
  • Maintain a safe and positive learning environment
  • Manage student behavior effectively
  • Uphold school policies and standards

Person Specification:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage student behavior effectively
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience working with young people in an educational setting
  • A degree or equivalent qualification is desirable but not essential
  • QTS and a good knowledge of your subject but flexibility to cover as required
