GIS Developer with React Experience We're seeking a skilled GIS Developer to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in geographical information systems and mapping technologies, complemented by React development skills.Primary Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain sophisticated GIS applications using ArcGIS JavaScript SDK and other mapping libraries
  • Implement complex spatial analysis features and custom mapping solutions
  • Create and manage multi-layered maps with various data sources
  • Integrate mapping functionality into existing web applications
  • Optimise application performance for handling large spatial datasets
Essential Requirements
  • Extensive experience with ArcGIS JavaScript SDK and proven ability to implement its advanced features
  • Strong understanding of GIS principles including coordinate systems, map projections, and spatial analysis
  • Practical experience with one or more additional mapping libraries (Mapbox, Leaflet, or OpenLayers)
  • Working knowledge of React.js and modern JavaScript
  • Proven track record of delivering web-based mapping solutions
Desired Skills
  • Experience with Esri ecosystem and ArcGIS Enterprise
  • Knowledge of spatial databases (PostGIS, SQL Server Spatial)
  • Familiarity with vector tile services and real-time data integration
  • Understanding of cartographic principles and map design
  • Experience with TypeScript
