Reed is excited to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a versatile Warehouse Operative role. This position offers a dynamic work environment where no two days are the same.Â
Day-to-day of the role:- Transfer stock into the stores and showroom, ensuring efficient flow and organization.
- Unpack branch 'bins' and process incoming supplier parcels.
- Load and unload the internal lorry, managing logistics smoothly.
- Oversee the management of customer delivery and collection shelves.
- Conduct stock checks as required to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Manage showroom stock to ensure availability and presentation standards.
- Provide efficient, effective, and friendly customer service at all times.
- Understand and strive to meet the goals and targets set for the parts department and branch.
- Adhere to company procedures and guidelines, ensuring compliance with health and safety measures.
- Ability to thrive in a busy environment and cope under pressure during peak times.
- Strong communication skills across various platforms including face-to-face, email, and fax.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Good numeracy and literacy skills.
- Team player who can also work independently and initiate tasks.
- Good general health and fitness.
- Full Driver's License.
- Forklift License.
