Reed is excited to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a versatile Warehouse Operative role. This position offers a dynamic work environment where no two days are the same. 

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Transfer stock into the stores and showroom, ensuring efficient flow and organization.
  • Unpack branch 'bins' and process incoming supplier parcels.
  • Load and unload the internal lorry, managing logistics smoothly.
  • Oversee the management of customer delivery and collection shelves.
  • Conduct stock checks as required to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Manage showroom stock to ensure availability and presentation standards.
  • Provide efficient, effective, and friendly customer service at all times.
  • Understand and strive to meet the goals and targets set for the parts department and branch.
  • Adhere to company procedures and guidelines, ensuring compliance with health and safety measures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Ability to thrive in a busy environment and cope under pressure during peak times.
  • Strong communication skills across various platforms including face-to-face, email, and fax.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Team player who can also work independently and initiate tasks.
  • Good general health and fitness.
  • Full Driver's License.
  • Forklift License.
