Description
- Managing daily financial transactions and ensuring accurate record keeping
- Ensuring compliance with the Solicitors Accounts Rules
- Bank reconciliations and client account management
- Processing client and office accounting transactions including postings
- Dealing with residual balances and write offs
- Assisting with month end procedures and management reports
Profile
A successful SLC should have:
- A strong background in legal cashiering within a professional services environment
- Proficiency in the use of legal accounting software
- An understanding of the Solicitors Accounts Rules
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- A proactive and professional approach to work
