You will be supporting the head chef with leading a passionate kitchen team, creating fresh and innovative dishes, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation.The main duties include:* Help organise and lead the busy catering team, ensuring a successful and efficient service is provided.* Assist in creating innovative, seasonal menus * Prepare and present food to the highest standard and quality.* Maintain portion control and minimise waste to support financial goals.* Assist with the ordering of stock.* Ensure all legislation and procedures are adhered to.What exactly are we looking for?* Food Safety Level 2 or 3 certification.* Proven experience as a Senior Sous Chef or in a similar role within a busy kitchen environment, preferably in a hotel or restaurant setting.* Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary trends, and kitchen equipment.* Strong leadership and team management skills.* Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.* Creative flair with a passion for delivering high-quality and innovative dishes.* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.* Knowledge of health and safety regulations, including COSHH, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.If you are seeking an opportunity to further develop your career, working for a highly professional company and feel you have the right skills and knowledge, then please apply with your CV today.
