An outstanding Law firm with multiple offices across Sussex is seeking their newest member of the finance team to ensure a smooth running of the department, in alignment with the solicitor's accounts guidelines and internal procedures.

The function of this position it to ensure accurate processing of Client & Business Payments and banking of receipts, including reconciling bank accounts and so much more!...
Some main duties are as follows:
- Reconciliations of Client & Business bank accounts and petty cash
- Checking banking forecasts and applying funds where necessary
- Management of banking system for all payments including CHAPS, BACS and FPCs
- Setting up and completing CHAPS transactions as required by fee earners
- Completing bank deposit books
- Calculating and applying Client interest
- Maintaining Client ledgers
- Running housekeeping system reports
- ... Various other ad-hoc duties to keep the position interesting and varied!
A successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong few years of experience as a Legal Cashier or higher with up to date knowledge of solicitor's accounts rules.
Working hours are 9am - 5pm, Monday - Friday with hybrid opportunities available.
Salary goes up to £35,000 + bonus + benefits. Higher salaries can always be discussed if needed.
