Sonic Summary

This job is for a position in a hand assembly facility specializing in surface mount and through hole soldering.
Candidates should have experience in the electronics manufacturing industry, including component identification and wiring.
The role involves working collaboratively with team members, adhering to health and safety policies, and maintaining quality assurance standards.
Practical experience in soldering, wiring, and assembly is required, with a qualification in electronics preferred but not essential.
The position offers a temporary role with a potential for permanence, with working hours from 08:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday and a salary of £25,000 per year.

To form part of our hand assembly facility specialisting in surface mount and through hole soldering. Experience in the electronics manufacturing industry required, including familiarisation with component identification, wiring, wiring looms and colour coding.

Main Duties

• Relying on effectiveness and co-operation of other team members and colleagues in

the Hand Assembly dept.

• Fluctuations in workload.

• Product specific test procedures

• Comply with Company policies and procedures

• Health and Safety policies and procedures

• Working to Quality assurance standards - ISO 9001

• Through hole component soldering and assembly

• Surface mount component soldering and assembly

• Component identification/colour codes, etc.

• Working to drawings

• Wiring assembly

Skills And Qualifications

• Practical experience for each skill soldering, wiring, assembly

• Practical experience in electronics manufacture

• General PCB handling

• Qualification in electronics preferred but not essential•

Working Hours

• 08:00 - 17:00 Mon - Fri, 30 min lunch

• Fri 08:00-14:00, mid-morning break only.

This a temporary position with a view to the position going to a permanent position
