As an Extrusion Setter Operator, your responsibilities will include:
- Setting up, maintaining, and safely operating tooling and processing equipment
- Ensuring production targets for cost, quality, and timing are consistently met
- Interpreting technical specifications from drawings with high accuracy
- Operating and maintaining automated equipment and systems
- Processing and developing recycled materials through compounding processes
- Collaborating with colleagues to achieve business objectives
- Maintaining accurate records and updating systems as required
- Working 45 hours per week on a weekly rotational shift pattern
- At least 5 years in extrusion, preferably PVC
- NVQ or equivalent in pipe and profile extrusion
- Experience in setting, operating, and troubleshooting a wide range of production tooling
- Strong production schedule management and quality improvement capabilities
- A collaborative attitude and practical problem-solving skills
- A conscientious and dependable approach to work
