Computer Science Teacher (KS3, KS4, KS5)

The Role:We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Computer Science Teacher to join our team. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality lessons across KS3, KS4, and KS5, equipping students with the essential skills for success in an increasingly digital world.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Teach a range of topics, including programming, algorithms, cybersecurity, and data representation
- Support and challenge students to reach their full potential, adapting teaching strategies as needed
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and targeted support
- Contribute to the development of the Computer Science curriculum and department initiatives
- Participate in extracurricular activities, such as coding clubs or STEM projects
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or significant experience teaching Computer Science in a secondary school setting
- Experience teaching across KS3, KS4, and KS5
- Strong subject knowledge, including programming languages such as Python or Java
- An up-to-date DBS check on the update service or willingness to obtain one
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- A passion for computing and the ability to inspire students
- Experience with A-Level Computer Science delivery
- Knowledge of emerging technologies and their application in education
- Familiarity with exam board specifications and assessment criteria
- Ability to contribute to whole-school digital learning strategies
