About the Role:
Are you a dedicated and adaptable primary school teacher based in Hastings? Academics Ltd is looking for a reliable Supply Primary Teacher who can respond to last-minute assignments and is available for early morning calls as early as 7am. If you are flexible, enjoy diverse teaching environments, and are eager to make a positive impact, this role is for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons across different year groups, following the national curriculum.
- Quickly adapt to new classroom settings and build positive relationships with students.
- Manage classroom behaviour to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
- Mark and assess students' work when required, providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with school staff to support student learning and well-being.
- Maintain a professional and flexible approach to accommodate the needs of different schools and students.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Experience teaching in a primary school setting is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of the primary national curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
- Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to engage and motivate students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to quickly build rapport.
- A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching, with availability for early morning calls for same-day assignments.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
